Finishing Surface Treatment

The finishing methods are mainly manual polishing, sandblasting, or CNC grinding. The quality of hand polishing is largely dependent on the operator's experience. Additionally, sandblasting and CNC grinding are less accessible for parts with complex, porous interior surfaces, and are therefore often used for cleaning and polishing the exterior surfaces of parts and removing oxide layers. For high surface quality requirements: RA is 0.8μm ~ 1.6μm, and the finishing process faces huge challenges. In addition to the above methods, there are shape-adaptive grinding, laser polishing, chemical polishing, and abrasive flow machining.
