Tips for SLS Nylon PA12
1. For SLS print, your nylon parts need to have at least 1mm wall thickness. When designing living hinges, ensure that the SLS minimum wall thickness is 0.3 mm.
2. It is highly recommended not to design large and flat parts when using nylon in a powder bed process due to the high potential for warpage.
3. It is recommended to remove the nylon powder inside the parts, especially the parts with a wall thickness of over 20mm. To save material and avoid warping, make sure to include at least two escape holes in your design to help ease powder removal after printing.
