The Lightweight design

Since SLS 3D printing does not require support material, parts with hollow sections can be printed easily and accurately. Hollow sections reduce part weight and cost by using less material, which is especially important in aerospace.

1. In the design of the part, the escape hole should be designed so that the unsintered powder can be removed in the post-processing. It is recommended to add at least 2 escape holes with a minimum diameter of 5 mm.
