Tips for 3D Printing
1. Parts made of nylon must have walls that are at least 1mm thick. Make sure the process has a minimum wall thickness of 0.5mm while designing live hinges.
2. When using nylon, avoid designing large, flat sections because they are more likely to distort.
3. Since nylon can be used to create moving and interlocking elements, you should provide at least 0.5mm of the gap between printed parts.
4. It is advised that, at the very least, two escape holes be designed for simple powder removal after printing for pieces with a wall thickness of over 20 mm in order to conserve material and prevent deformation.
