HP MJF Technology mainly uses nylon material, because nylon has high toughness, wear resistance, and good mechanical properties, and is widely used in automobile, medical, and other industries. Especially for final parts and functional parts.
HP MJF uses an inkjet array to selectively apply flux and detailing agents to a bed of nylon powder, which is then fused into a solid layer by a heating element. After each layer, the powder is distributed on top of the bed, and the process is repeated until the part is complete. After the printing process is complete, the build box is removed from the printer. An operator carefully removes the part from the build box and removes the remaining powder with the help of a brush and blower.
