Full Color 3D Printer Company Closed

Mar 23, 2022

At present, the sales of color 3D printers are not very good on a global scale. Except for the 3D printing of portraits around 2016, which made people think that they can be used as a major upgrade of plane photography, the application is still relatively small in general, and even has been Some full-color 3D printing companies have closed. Is there a problem with its application scenario? Does the market really need it?

From Antarctic Bear has learned that 3D printing manufacturer Rize 3D, a company that provides unique extrusion and piezo jetting solutions for full-color 3D printing, has gone out of business. A statement on the companys website reads:

“we are so thankful for you! RIZE is no longer operation but don’t worry. A new company, Palitra is here to serve you when it comes to technical support, filament order much more.”

Rizes patented Augmented Polymer Deposition (APD) 3D printing technology enables multi-material printing, reduces post-processing, uses safe, non-toxic and recyclable materials for Smart products, but proved too niche and too small in scope. Rizes APD process brings them together, enabling innovators to deliver  unprecedented customer experiences. It also offers multi-material, full-color capabilities at a lower  cost and higher speed than material jetting processes; but lacks realism and clarity, and is too costly  compared to FFF 3D printing.

Eugene Giller founded RIZE with a mission to bring functional printing to the masses through advanced  capabilities such as composite materials and full-color 3D printing. Thanks to the incredible core team who have worked tirelessly to create a technology ecosystem unlike any other FFF 3D printer in the world.

XRIZE is the world’s first industrial Additive Manufacturing solution for creating  vibrant, full-color functional parts with minimal post-processing. Through use of their patented Augmented Polymer Deposition (APD) process, extrusion and material jetting are combined to produce incredibly strong parts that require almost no post-processing. Parts can also be labeled with detailed text and images during the printing process using CMYK Marking Ink.
